What are the maintenance requirements for the SUPR-DSF?
- The SUPR-DSF requires minimal maintenance and calibration by the user, ensuring reliable performance for many years when basic usage and care instructions are followed. A single preventive maintenance visit per year is recommended.
- Detailed guidelines can be found in the user manual.
How do I troubleshoot low signal-to-noise in my experiments?
- Low signal-to-noise can typically be addressed by optimizing sample concentration, ensuring proper plate sealing (and absence of fingerprints!), or selecting an interference-free fluorescence range within the instrument’s detection window. Buffer composition can also sometimes be a factor if fluorescent excipients are included; the use of buffer blanks is encouraged, and they may be subtracted from the sample spectra.
- Our support team is available to assist with troubleshooting.
